CROWN FIRE

Winds of Change

Created for the Godot Wild Jam #83 with the theme "Consume"


How To Play:

  • Click on the N/S/E/W indicators on the compass to change the direction of the wind and use the fire to cause as much damage as possible. Wind speed and wind direction influence how quickly the fire spreads and which direction it goes.
  • Click and drag anywhere on the play area to move the camera.
  • Buy upgrades to create lightning strikes or temporarily increase wind speed to help spread the fire to hard to reach places.

This game is played entirely with the mouse.

The options menu allows for customization of many game settings, but gameplay was primarily tested with all settings set to "Normal".  Settings affect gameplay, but are not explicitly taken into account for the final score.


About the Game:

This game was created in ~1 week by a solo dev using Godot, inspired by the board game "Fire Tower". 

A crown fire is a fire that quickly spreads across the tops (crowns) of trees and can be heavily influenced by the wind. In this game, you control the wind.
